John Bonomo, 90, of Weston, Florida passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at VITAS Healthcare, Florida Medical Center, Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.

Mr. Bonomo was born in New York, New York to Vincenzio and Filipina (Piazza) Bonomo.

He was a Veteran of World War II and he spent his career in Civil Service in New York City.

He is survived by his loving wife: Helen Bonomo, and two sons Vin Bonomo and Bill Bonomo; daughter-in-law Teri Bonomo, as well as four grand children: Tara Hoffman, Brian Bonomo, Kevin Bonomo and Brianna Bonomo and trwo great-grandchildren: James and Katie Hoffman.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date, which will be posted here when all of the arrangements are finalized.
