Mackenson Mareus, 27, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2010.

He was a native of Port-de-Paix, Haiti, and worked as a security guard, disc jockey and radio host, with his own web-based radio station http://www.radiotendressefm.com .

He was a High School Graduate and Vocational Student. In Haiti he used to install radio towers and worked as a radio host. He love helping others. He enjoyed the internet, software, and music. He was a Baptist by faith.

A visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2010, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3999 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, Florida 33334.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to help keep his children going to school in Haiti. There will be a contribution box at the visitation and funeral service.
