With profound faith and acceptance of the Lord's will, we announce the departure of Mary Lou DeRolf, who was called home on June 12, 2023. Mary was born on November 28, 1943, in the humble town of Marion, Kentucky.
Hers was a life well-lived, full of love, kindness, and an unique sense of humor that brought joy to all those around her.
In her adult years, Mary resided in Plantation, Florida, where she succumbed to Parkinson's disease.
She was a devoted mother to her sons, Brad and Brock, a loving grandmother to
Madison, Brooke, Paige, JR, Elijah, Kayla, and Jaxson, and a faithful sister to Winfred Chandler,
Nancy Weenig, Barbara Krueger, Judy King, and Janet Hood. Her bonds of friendship with
dear friends Dottie, Elli, and Sue were a testament to her loving and compassionate nature.
And to her very special caregiver Fincetta we and Mary can not express enough thanks.
Mary worked in many in different capacities as a Librarian, Medical Office Manager,
and an Insurance Specialist. She always demonstrated a level of professionalism and dedication.
Her love for the Lord was evident in her active participation in church activities.
Her devotion to her faith was unwavering.
Mary had a fondness for cards, often seen engaging in a friendly game with her loved ones. She loved family gathering and family reunions.
She dearly loved old southern gospel hymns, How Great thou Art, It is Well and Blessed assurance. May your soul rest in the everlasting peace of the Lord. Amen
