“Avid Reader and Self-taught Chef”
Herbert will be remembered as a quiet but funny, very smart and witty man who loved to spend time with his daughter and her friends. He lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. He was full of adventure and was always ready for a road trip, spirited domino game or board game and a cold beer. If he was not at the beach or exploring new places, he would be buried in a book.
He created magic in the kitchen and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He served up homemade pies and goodies to his grand-daughter at her request.
“He fought a good fight”. Herbert is survived by his daughter Elizabeth, granddaughter Katelyn, other family members and friends.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Herbert touched are invited to the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449, 1:30pm on Friday, December 14th, 2018, to say good bye to Herbert.
