Alice Pimenta Obituary

Alice Louise Pimenta, 84, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Dighton, Massachusetts, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her home.

Mrs. Pimenta was born in Dighton, Massachussetts to Joseph and Anna Carvalho. She was educated in the Dighton School System and spent her career as a nurse.

She was President of Dighton Seniors, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Dighton, MA, and Morton Hospital Bowling League

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, North Dighton, MA and St. Pius X Catholic Church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She is survived by her husband: John G. Pimenta, Fort Lauderdale, FL; her son: John E. Pimenta and his partner John Tully, Fort Lauderdale, FL; two sisters: Rita Drummond & family and Natalie Borba & family; five brothers: Joe Carvalho, Gerard Carvalho, Bobby Carvalho, Dennis Carvalho, and David Carvalho.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2511 North Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305 on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM. The body will lie in repose at the church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Burial will be at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida 33467 on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:15 PM - Lane 5.
