Andrew Dunbar Lewis

Andrew D. Lewis of Ft. Lauderdale passed away after a short illness on August 2, 2015.  

Andrew was born on August 14, 1953, the third son of Richard and Emily Richard Lewis, formerly of Lauderdale-by the-Sea.  He was born in Atlantic Beach, FL and grew up in Westport, CT.  

He was a graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.  Andrew married Katherine Dumas in 1980.  They resided in the Annapolis, MD area where they enjoyed sailing and Andrew established his own business, Bay Marketing.  Following an amicable separation from Katherine in 1998, Andrew moved to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and began a new life with his partner Craig Caruso.  

Andrew greatly enjoyed travel and acquired a large network of friends through sailing, extensive travel, and his Facebook postings.  He and Craig were active members of Sunshine Cathedral in Ft. Lauderdale.  Andrew is survived by his partner Craig Caruso, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and his brothers and their families::Richard B. Lewis, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL and  Frederick D. Lewis, Evanston, IL.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 14, 2015 - 1:00 PM at Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 SW 9th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315.
