Calvin Wayne Cooper

Calvin Wayne Cooper, 8, of Cooper City, Florida lost his battle with childhood cancer Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, Hollywood, Florida. He had been a very courageous fighter and held on as long as he could. but he is now in a place without cancer or any other disease!

He was born in Troy, Ohio, to Matthew and Jenn (Merritt) Cooper. He was a student in the second grade and he loved to hunt and the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents: Matthew and Jenn Cooper, Cooper City, Florida; his brother: Christian Cooper, Cooper City, Florida; and Baby Cooper on the way; his paternal grandfather: Stephen and Dawn Cooper, Cooper City, Florida;his paternal grandmother, Tammie Cooper, Cooper City, Florida; his maternal grandparents: Steve and Sheri Merritt, Dayton, Ohio.

There will be a public visitation and funeral service at The Pentecostals of Cooper City, 5201 South Flamingo Road, Cooper City, Florida 33330 on Saturday, April 18, 2015. The viewing will begin at 1:00 PM and the Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
