Carl M. Galli, age 70, died on Sunday November 10, 2019 in Margate, Florida
He was born to Frank and Sara (Alessandro) Galli and was the oldest of four children.
From a very young age Carl had a great passion for art, theatre, music, movies and traveling. This passion landed him his fist job with the Miami Herald, writing the “Lifestyle” column, and as a young man this was an amazing opportunity for him fulfil this passion to not only attend so many events but to meet some of his favourite entertainers within that industry.
After graduating from Biscayne College he attended William and Mary Law School but while there had the opportunity to start a career with the government which he accepted. Carl spent the next 25 years not just working in his administrative position but found many ways to serve from it as well.
Carl was also an advocate for AIDS and Gay Rights, serving his community here and abroad for 20 plus years, and up until the present he held a position as President of S.A.G.E.
Carl was proceeded in life by his father Frank and mother Sara and is survived by his three sisters Marie, Dee and Donna as well as his nephew DJ, niece Lauren and great nephew Austin.
Carl will be greatly missed not only by his family but by all of his friends within his community.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 16, 2019, at 11:00 AM, St.Francis and Clare, 2300 N 9th Avenue (Powerline Road), Wilton Manors, Florida 33311
