Carmene Champagne Obituary

Carmene Ajeé Champagne, a Doula and Chicago native, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021 at the age of 27 in Hollywood, FL where she relocated to in 2018. She had family by her side in her final breaths.

Carmene was born on April 16, 1994 and is survived by her parents, Patrice Marcell Champagne and Gracien Serge Champagne, her brothers Gracien (Tashika), Patric, Cayl(Taylor), Christian, and Lamont, half brother Serge-Alex, her sisters Ayla and Ayana (Zephaniah), her nieces, London and Noë, and nephew, Logan, her Grandfather, L.C, along with many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Carmene was always the love and joy of every person she encountered and used her deep faith and spirituality to dedicate her life to the betterment of others. Carmene completed schooling to become a prenatal and birthing Doula in 2020 and was supporting two expecting mothers.

“To have faith in God is to have faith in his timing” are the words inscribed on the cover of Carmene’s journal. A lesson that all of her loved ones will hold dear to our hearts as we grieve this loss.
