David Valvo Obituary

David R. Valvo, age 66, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and formerly of Bristol, CT, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Broward Health Medical Center. Born April 21, 1953 in New Britain, CT, he was the son of the late Salvatore and Carmela “Millie” (Mercugliano) Valvo.

David graduated from Bristol Eastern High School and attended The University of Connecticut at Storrs. He enjoyed gatherings of family and friends as well as music, tag sales and cooking.

David was preceded in death by his father, Salvatore J. Valvo and his mother, Carmella J. Valvo. Surviving are his brothers, Randy Valvo, and Gary Valvo; as well nephews, nieces, eight great nieces and nephews and numerous friends.

Memorial services will be held at a future date near his childhood home in Bristol, CT. Friends in the Florida area will be making arrangements as well.
