Debra Cecilia Barker-Rodriguez was born in Hollywood, Florida to William Oliver and Margaret Louise (Jones) Barker.

She attended Apollo Middle School and McArthur High School.

She worked for Waste Management and Broward County Schools.

She love her family, the outdoors, traveling, planting and replanting her roses. She traveled throughout the United States. She was very outspoken.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Clery E. Rodriguez, her brother: Kenneth Barker, and a son, Roger Hussey, Sr.

She is survived by her children: James Gouger, Jeffrey Hussey, Sr., Michael (April Letson) Hussey; Joseph (Stephanie) Mezynski; Jahanna (James) Adams; Brenda Johnson (ex-daughter-in-law); Siblings: Gary (Ruth) Barker; Marsha Cherry; Tammy Stone; Susan (Mark) Neal; Yevette Barker (ex sister-in-law): 19 Grandchildren; Shawn, Anthony, Destiny Amber, Jeffrey Jr, Juliana, Dale, Melissa, Roger Jr, Matthew, Athena, William, Logan, Christina, Destiny Leeann, Kirklan, Brittany, Alysah, Harley, and Emma and multiple nieces, nephews, and great-grand children.
