Enrique A. Gonzalez

Enrique was born in Santiago Cuba May 9 1961 and  died on July 2 2014 Oakland Park FL. Arrived in the US in the early 1970’s and grew up in the South Miami - Homestead area. 

Enrique is survived by his mother Mryna Gonzalez, sister Zuzel Gonzalez, brother Juan Gonzalez all of the Orlando Florida area, and long time companion and life partner John Sheaffer, Oakland Park Florida. 

Enrique was the founder of Spectrum Entertainment, a production company that provided talent for Zanadu Productions as well as many other production companies through out S Florida. He  also was a model and dancer, had the opportunity to travel world wide with different production companies, and doing tv commercial work and print work when he was younger. He enjoyed working with different ballet schools and dance organizations performing Character roles. He was exceptional as an adagio partner. He enjoyed learning and perfecting his skills as reliable partner to those he danced with at Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique, International Ballet and The Florida Classical Ballet.

Enrique worked with Proctor & Gamble for the Macy’s store in Aventura Florida and was top promoter for their products. 

The Visitation and Funeral Service will be held at James C. Boyd Funeral Home Chapel, 2324 NW 6th Street (Sistrunk Blvd), Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33311 Phone (954) 584-3940 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
