Ernst Helmuth Drewes

Ernst Helmuth Drewes, 64, of Weston, Florida passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 at VITAS Hospice, Memorial Pembroke Hospital.

Mr. Drewes was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Ernst and Erika Drewes.

He spent the last years of his career as a District Sales Manager for a Commercial Bakery.

He is survived by his wife: Alice W. Drewes, Weston, Florida; his mother: Erika Drewes, Staten Island, NY; two sons: Ernst H. Drewes, II and Mark Drewes, both of Weston, FL; one daughter Robyn (Jonathan) Shanley, San Antonio, TX; one grandson: Bowen Drewes, Weston, FL; two granddaughters: Dakota Drewes, Weston, FL and Layla Shanley, San Antonio, TX; as well as one brother Richard Drewes; and one sister: Nancy (Bruce) Gundry, both of Staten Island, New York.

Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery. When the exact date and time are known, they will be posted here.
