Ethel Showalters Hurley

Ethel Showalters Hurley, 89, of Plantation, Florida passed away Thursday November 8, 2012.

She was born in Zanesville, Ohio.  She served in the Coast Guard from July, 1943 to May, 1946.  She married Sheldon Hurley in 1946, and had two sons, Boyd and Raymond. She was best known as "The Insurance Lady" at Jacksonville Shipyards.  She retired as Benefits Administrator at SCM Corporation.

She is survived by 2 sons, 2 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
