Ishmael Leroy Bryan

Ishmael Leroy Bryan, 83, of Margate, Florida and the Cayman Islands passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida.

Mr. Bryan was born in Cayman Brac to Darrell George and Violet Virginia Bryan.

He spent his career as a seafarer in the Merchant Marines and was a member of S.I.U. (Seafarers International Union.)

He is survived by his wife: Curlene E. Bryan, Margate, Florida, Larry Bryan of Cayman Brac, Hank Bryan of Texas, Chris Bryan of Margate Florida,  Ellis Bryan of Florida, Darrell Bryan of Queens New York, Colleen Bryan of Cayman Brac, Denise Garden of Valley stream New York, Kirk Bryan of Queens New York, as well as grand children and other loving relatives and friends here and in the Cayman Islands.

Mr. Bryan will be repatriated back to the Cayman Islands. Funeral Services will be held in Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands under the direction of Churchill's Funeral Home, 328 Eastern Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, Phone (345) 943-4663, with interment to follow in Spot Bay Cemetery, Cayman Brac.

A local Visitation will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3999 North Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, Florida 33334.
