James Robert Sheedy, III

James Robert Sheedy III, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his home in Fort Lauderdale, FL., and went to be with the Lord at the age of 48. He was born on October 14th, 1972 in Boston, MA.

Jimmy was passionate about music and playing the drums. He enjoyed watching old TV shows, collecting memorabilia, watching the New England Patriots, and was a huge fan of the Boston Bruins (since he also played hockey in his youth). 

He will always be remembered for his optimism, sense of humor, and love for his family.

He is survived by his loving mother Lillian H Murphy of Duxbury, MA, his sisters Melissa F Murphy of Quincy,  and Jessica L Murphy of Plymouth, baby nephew Killian James, Aunts Gloria (Gigi) Viola, Charlene Perry, Loretta Duyette, and many cousins. 

He is also survived by his loyal and longtime girlfriend of 20 years Diana Gioberti of Fort Lauderdale, FL., and their pug El Dolce.

He is predeceased by his father James Robert Sheedy, Jr. and his grandparents Edward and Pauline Powers.

There will be a Celebration of Life held in the future, with details to come.
