John Arthur Thomson, Jr., 87, of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Aventura Hospital & Medical Center, Aventura, Florida.
Mr. Thomson was born in Morristown, New Jersey to John and Isadore Anita Thomson, Sr.
He was a Veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Coast Guard - Merchant Marines.
He spent the rest of his career around sea going vessels and was the Chief Engineer on Marine Tugboats.
He is survived by his four sons: Douglas R. Thomson, Baltimore, MD, James T. Thomson, Miami, FL, Michael R. Thomson, Sunrise, FL and Paul A. Thomson, Miami Lakes, FL.
