Juliet Clark Obituary

Juliet Jane (Sheakley) Clark of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of Louisville, KY and Sharpsville PA, peacefully went home to be with the Lord, and her husband, on Sunday morning, February 9, 2020. She was 91. Mrs. Clark was born May 15,1928, in Linesville, PA to Mary Cornelia Gillette Sheakley and Dr. Clark Alexander Sheakley. When her daughters were school-aged Julie led Pixie, Brownie and eventually Girl Scout troops in Sharpsville.  As a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sharon, PA, Mrs. Clark sang in the Chancel Choir, taught Sunday school and led Vacation Bible School. She was also a camp counselor during many summers at Seneca Hills Bible Camp where she was known as “Aunt Julie,” a title that stuck with her even outside the camp. She initiated and co-led Good News Clubs in Sharpsville, along with her dear friend Jeannie. Her passions in life were her love for her family as well as for all children; and for others to know and have a relationship with Jesus.

Her husband, Lewis Fred Clark, whom she married in 1947, passed away in 1974. Survivors include her daughter, Marybelle, and her husband Will Estman, of Pompano Beach, FL; daughter, Patsy Novak, of Elizabethtown, KY; one granddaughter, Faith, and her husband, Jeff Judd of Louisville, KY; three grandsons, Joshua Estman, of Lexington, KY; Rev. Brian Kilbert, and his wife Weibke, of Midway, WV; and Rev. Christopher Kilbert, and his wife Nikole, of St. Albans, WV; and seven great grandchildren; Renee, Tyler, Lakyn, Layna, Canon, Mia and Willow.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mary Lou Giles; and her brother, Edward Sheakley.

A celebration of Mrs. Clark’s life will be held in Sharon, PA later this year.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Mrs Clark’s favorite charities, International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. (info@ifcj.org) or Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org)
