On March 29, 1961 Dorothy (Boertmann) and Earl Meador welcomed their third of 5 children, Keith.
Keith was a good natured child, warm friendly and outgoing. He was a Boy Scout and played football at East Detroit High School.
He attended Western Michigan University but was looking for adventure. He worked in the oil industry in the Gulf of Mexico, then acquired a pilot’s license and piloted yachts. This took him to the Bahamas where he met his wife, Tia Morgan. They came back to the states to start a family and although the union did not last, they had 2 beautiful children, Bronson and Bianca.
Keith worked as a sales manager for Atlas CopCo, moving to St. Louis, MO then to Dallas, TX. He left that position to start a packaging company. He later asked his partner to buy him out so he could devote full time to work on a coffee machine he invented and patented.
Keith had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. He never met a stranger.
I recent years, in failing health, he retired to Florida.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Earl Meador.
He is survived by his children, Bianca and Bronson Meador, his sister, Sandy Meador(Maurice White) and brothers Dave(Peggy)Meador, Mark Meador and Tim(Twila) Meador, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be missed by all.
