Larry Edwin Speers

Larry Speers received his angel wings on April 6, 2020 at the age of 73. He was a permanent resident of South Florida for 6 years after living in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was predeceased by his husband of 47 years, Mario Illas and his sister Vicky.

He is survived by his partner, Germano, a brother Jerry and two sisters, Judy and Darlene, several nieces and nephews and many friends. 

He worked and retired from Lockheed Martin as a technician and also worked as a Registered Nurse in Fort Worth, Texas.

Larry has a great sense of humor, loved great music, movies, good food, family and friends.Larry was quick witted that would always bring a smile to your face. Larry will be remembered as a gentle , kind, generous, funny and loving soul.

He will be greatly missed by his partner, family and friends.

He will be buried at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida, on April 14, 2020.
