Luis Marzoa, 59, of Miami, Florida, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the University of Miami Hospital, Miami, Florida.
Mr. Marzoa was born in Havana, Cuba to Eladio and Amparo Marzoa, and spent most of his career working around and on the sea.
He is survived by his mother: Amparo Laucirica, Miami, FL, two daughters: Arelys and Annetin Marzoa, Miami, FL, one sister: Amnery (Osvaldo) Cortina-Marzoa, Glen Rock, NJ; two uncles: Alberto Laucirica and Manuel Lauricia, Miami, FL; two aunts: Sara Laucirica, Miami, FL, and Maria A. Marzoa Nogueira, Glen Rock, NJ; and three nieces: Daphny (Scott) Brave, Amityville, NY, Natalie and Christon Cortina, Glen Rock, NJ, a friend: Virginia Forte, Miami, FL.
His wishes were to be cremated and have his cremated remains scattered at sea. A Sea Commital Service will take place on Friday, May 23, 2014 from the Sweet Emily Charters, 125 N. Riverside Drive, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 at 4:00 PM for those immediate family members selected to attend.
