Michael Raymond Cleveland passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016. He was born on December 6, 1954 in Winooski, Vermont, the first born son of Raymond and Constance Cleveland.
Following High School, Michael served proudly in the US Navy on the legendary USS Forestal. After his honorable service to his Country, Michael thought, "What better place to have a career in Air Conditioning than South Florida?" And so he enrolled in Air Conditioning Technology School, graduating top of of his class. Michael loved serving the air conditioning needs of the people of Broward and West Palm Beach Counties and did so for 30 plus years.
Michael is survived by is mother, Constance Clevleand; brother Martin Cleveland; sister Carolyn Cleveland, all from Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Also, sister and brother in-law, Arlene & Jerry Montone from Bradenton, Fl.. Michael's beloved nephew's, Paul Montone and his wife Irini from Boca Raton, Fl., Adam Montone from Austin, TX, Matthew Montone from Deerfield Beach, Fl. Michael is survived by many cousin's and extended family members. Michael is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Joseph Cleveland.
Michael always had a passion for adventure and loved the great outdoors. When not installing air conditioners, you could bet Michael would be cruising down to the Keys with his beloved dog, Jaz, close by his side. In tow would be his single engine fishing boat ...he would describe the most beautiful sunsets...after he caught a trout or two.
Michael had the most tender of hearts, alway's there to help anyone in need and he will be remembered for his generosity, selflessness, unique sense of humor and his eye's more blue than the sky.
