Mrs. Benavides was born in Nicagarua.

She is survived by her children: Francisco Benavides, Gulfport, Mississippi; Maria Lazo, Gulfport, Mississippi; Clarabel Theis (Michael), Boca Raton, Florida; Geisol Lazo (Efrain), Boynton Beach, Florida; Rudy Lazo (Carlos Munoz), Oakland Park, Florida; William Lazo, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 3331 NE 10th Terrace, Pompano Beach, FL 33064 on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Following the funeral mass, the family will receive friends for a visitation at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 3999 N. Dixie Highway, Oakland Park, FL 33334 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
