Richard James Horsmann, 56, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015.
He was born in Mineola, New York to Richard Earl and Elizabeth Burnett (Larter) Horsmann. He was raised and lived on Long Island for the majority of his life, relocated to Florida~ 2008.
He loved living by the water and boats, was happiest tinkering on and refurbishing bikes, cars and computers.
Throughout his life he worked with horses, in restaurants and in construction. Later in life he became EMS certified and wanted to help people.
Survived by his sister Robin Campbell, niece and nephew Jennifer and Christopher Campbell. He had a maternal aunt, Florence Lovell and cousins in Elmira NY, Maternal Uncle with his wife and family upstate NY James and Peggy Healy. Paternal Aunt Joan Ziel and cousins in Illinois.
