Richard F. Parsons

Richard (Rick) Parsons, 67, of Pompano Beach, passed away December 25, 2020, after complications with his stroke and heart disease.

He resided in Boca Raton and the surrounding areas of south Florida for most of his life. He is an alumni of Boca Raton High School, class of 1971. Rick is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Parsons, daughter, Christi Parsons, two sons, Steven and Kevin Parsons, sister, Terri Lewis, niece, Nicki Bereznicki,  nephew, Jonathan Fuller and two dogs, Ginbe and Naomi. 

Rick was everyone’s friend and had a big heart and would do anything for anyone, if he could. He always had a smile for everyone and was funny, witty, and brilliantly smart. Rick was a huge animal-lover and loved all creatures, especially dogs, and even squirrels, lizards and bugs. 

Rick was formerly President of the Turf Mechanic’s Association and was employed with several prominent golf courses throughout south Florida as a Mechanic’s Supervisor and Mechanic. Rick could fix just about anything and he was often creative in his ability to fix things.

He will be dearly missed by everyone (and every living creature) who knew him and will be forever in our hearts.

Currently, there are no service arrangements due to restrictions on large gatherings. A future memorial service will be held in south Florida and will be announced in the upcoming weeks/months.
