Robert Frank Jones

Robert Frank Jones, 88, of Davie, Florida- formerly from Miami Gardens and Bucks County, PA, passed away on August 11th, 2024 after a short illness.

Bob was a friend to many and could always be counted on to tell a great joke, give youa hand or just shoot the breeze over beers, especially if you were buying. He was agifted gardener, an avid fisherman (more of a fisherman and less of a catcher-man in the last few years and, as a lifelong football fan, he was hopeful for one more Dolphins Super Bowl victory. (Let’s Miami go in 2025!)

A loving husband, he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Vanderhoff, with whom he shared an enduring partnership of 64 years. He will be missed by his daughter and loving son-in-law, Donna & Nick Ferrante, their daughter and husband Nichole & Edwin Ortiz, their daughter, 5-year old Elianna, who will miss playing with her Great Pop-Pop; and his sons and daughters-in-law, Danny & Trish and Bobby & Judy.

The family extend their deepest appreciation to the Trustbridge Hospice and the Cleveland clinic teams for their care through his final days.
