Obituary
Sergio Oscar Peña passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on August 30, 2021, in the comfort of his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Born in Los Andes, Chile, January 4,1929, Sergio and his family settled in Fort Lauderdale in 1981 after having built successful businesses in Argentina, Chile and New York.
Sergio was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Maria Esther, in 2018.
Sergio is survived by his devoted daughter, Sandra and loving sons, Sergio and Christian (Angela Peña). Also survived by beloved grandchildren Daniela (Jaime Ramirez); Sergio (Gulnoza Bobokalonova), Nico, Ale (Maggie Naylor) and Gabby. Sergio was great grandfather to Lucia, Falcon, Ignacio and Bastian. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He will be remembered as a kind hearted, loving, giving and selfless man. Completely dedicated to his family, their well-being and happiness was always his first priority. His passing has left a void in our lives but his memory and the love that he showed to us all will live on in our hearts forever.
