Theodore J. Weber, Jr., 78, of Plantation, Florida, passed away on August 20, 2014.
He was the older of two children born to Theodore J., Sr., and Frances Weber in Malabar, Florida.
Ted served in the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school in Melbourne, Florida, and received China Service and Good Conduct Medals. He attended the University of Florida, where he met his wife Louella (née Quindsland) and graduated with a B.S. They moved to Santa Monica, California, where he worked at Nortronics and received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, and his sons Theodore C. and Daniel were born. The family then moved back to Florida, where Ted worked primarily as an engineer, much of it on the Apollo program and doing acoustic research for the Navy.
Ted was an avid fisherman and SCUBA diver, and was always at home on the water. He was honest, caring, and loved his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife Louella, son Theodore Charles and his wife Karen, son Daniel Joseph, brother Ronald and his wife Lilian, brother-in-law Ivar Quindsland and his wife Rebecca, aunt Rose, and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Plantation, at a date to be determined, followed by the scattering of his ashes in the Gulf Stream.
